Let's all go down to the riverside. I have heard that this man was walking on the water. Is it John or Jesus? Jesus was the one who made the blind to see, made the person to walk again. Now John was kind of like Jesus. But he was the person who Baptize lot of people. and saved lives Just like Jesus did. And he also Baptize Jesus. Jesus was just like John to. So they were about the same. So who would you have liked Jesus or John to Baptize. who would you have like to get Baptize by?

Superman

After seeing superman." A good movie and a great comic book." They say he had powers that was nothing of this world. Which one do you like the best? the movie or the book? Some say they would love to read the book instead of seeing the movie? Myself I like to watch the movie. I can sit back and just enjoy a good movie. But one thing about movies, you tend to fall asleep. So what ever you like movie or book, just enjoy. I think this was the first one that my cousin Tuck and I went to at the old Times In Danville.

Just over the Glory Land

Just over the Glory Land. A good song and makes me wonder, "what is Just over the Glory Land"? When we do leave this earth and our soul leaves our natural body, We will enter the kingdom of Heaven and travel over to the glory land. As we do travel, we will see things that we haven't ever experienced here on earth. We can go to any places we want. So just keep your eye's open for the "Glory Land".

President Barack Obama

President Barack Obama, our 44Th President, but who is he really? He was born in 1961 in Honolulu Hawaii. But what do we know really about him? As I was doing some reading on him, his dad was born in Kenya, and his mother was born in Kansas. After serving in the war they had moved to Kansas as Obama was growing up, he had went to Harvard, to study law. He got his degree in law and moved to Chicago where he had practiced and worked for congress until his Presidency in 2008.But do we really know if he is a true American or not, or what are his plans for America. We need to do some more thinking about him before the next term. Do we want him for 4 more years America.? Do we really know this person?

Left Behind

Just after seeing "Left Behind", the movie, which was a very good movie I have seen several times in the past but last night just couldn't sleep. Just imagine, having a nice conversation with someone and in a twinkle of a eye, your friend is gone,and you are left. You're driving and in a twinkle of a eye the person in front of you is gone. You're even on a plane and the capt. or the person next to you even your Baby are gone. What would you do at that time of crises? Would you be afraid, scared, or would you even try and get help from your pastor? But wait your pastor is gone he can't help you. So now what would you do? Just be prepared. You have been told about this day coming for a long time now.

Dream apon a star.

If you only had one wish, or a dream what would you use it for? Think about it. Wish upon a star they say, or even over a rainbow you can find a pot of gold. So what would you do if you had a chance for a pot of gold? Just wonder if we could take back just one thing, in our lifes what would it be. There is so many that I would do so I would have to have more than just one wish I suppose. So this is a good thought for you, Dream upon a star or a rainbow and just see what happens.

Jerusalem

Jerusalem. What do we know about Jerusalem? We know that Jerusalem will be the beginning of the world. It's the final place as we all know as Armageddon. That is if you are Christians. This is a start of a series of wars. Wars as we know as Battle's. This will bring peace to the nation.But it will only give peace for seven yrs. As I was reading from "Countdown To Jerusalem." the battle of Jerusalem has already started. So as what is going on with Libya; we need to watch and keep our eyes open, and listen for the sound.

Friends

Friends. What does friends means? It means having friends with you by your side. You don't need a person for a friend; you can even have a pet or two. But most of all a friend is there when your down, hurt, or just even someone to talk with. So remember you can always talk with one person if you don't have any. That one person would be God. he listen to you don't even talk back with you. and don't even complain to you. So if you need someone he is always in. to here you.

Conflict

Conflict. Why does America always have to go and fight other battles? Why can't we stay out and let them fight their own. This is a good question? America has always from the early years of America has fought for some kind of freedom around the world.So is it because we as a nation have our own freedom? Just think about this first. The other countries don't even let you say what's on your mind they just put you in jail or either death. Would you want that on your shoulders? Not me. So I guess be happy that we do have our freedom and a great nation.

The tomb

The tomb was empty that Sunday morning. The stone was rolled away. The body that was in there for three days was gone.The only thing that was left was a robe and blood stains that were left behind, and the guards that were supposed to be strong and big were asleep.When they awoke they were frightened and ran!. But the only person that stayed and cried was the Friend, The angel looked down on her and said "why are you weeping my child." She looked up and said;" I do not know where they have taken him"? The Angel looked down and said, "Fear not they have not taken him nowhere." Mary then an rremember the voice" who are you looking for?" And she heard the voice and looked up and said Master? "The voice said why are you looking for the dead"? "He is not here he has risen!"

Todays Game

Today's game between Parkland and Kalamazoo was one of those nail biting games where nowone knew who was going to win.Not the players from either side had any clue.The game started off with a slow pace, but after awhile the pace got moving.Both teams fought hard to win. but only one could. After half time Parkland
came out with a force. and took the ball back and forth down the court just shooting three's point's to get back into the game.Time after time, both teams had called time out. It finally came down to the coaches, who had the smarts,or had the will power. Kalamazoo had the ball which we had to foul.Only thing they had to do was make one free throw. It went up and out, missed the second shot too. Parkland got the ball with at least 10 seconds left. Their best three point shot player was being guarded. Time was running down to about 3 seconds so they passed it to one of the players with 2 tenths of a second and made a three point shot. I wasn't for sure who was in shock the most, him or the players.

NJCAA

As the NJCAA Tournament got underway this week out at Danville Area Community College, there were teams as far east as New York City, as far west as California, And far south from Mexico. The team that caught my eye the most was a team from Louisburg, NC and a player named Louechie Wiggins #3 a Sophomore . Don't ask me why but there was something about him. I guess it was due to his leg being in a brace or something. But they did put him in about a minute left to play which he didn't have any point's but hey he tried that's the main thing. Oh by the way did I tell you they did win of the score of 85 to 54. At first I was kind of nervous cause this was my first interviewing someone. I wasn't for sure who was doing what and who was answering the questions, me or him. For sure he started to ask me why I wanted to do this? I had told him I always loved sports and I was open minded person. Then I looked at him and said wait a minute, "who is doing what?" So I proceeded to ask him what his major was and he wanted to go into physical training. I then asked him if he was wanting to go pro someday? His answer was God willing. So I hope his dreams will come true as mine will someday.

The U.S Marine

The United States Marines,"Who are they?" They were just young boys who had left their home to fight for their country. They wanted to serve for peace, liberty, and justice. But before they could they had to go through a lot of defense training, "Boot Camp." Now Boot Camp it's no "fun and games." You see once you get there. the Drill Sergants can be mean as your Dad, they say.
But why do you want to put your self in places like this? They only want the few, the proud, and pride. Then they go into places that nobody wants to go and they fight for our country, freedom, and courage. So again who are they you ask? They are the "Few , the proud and the pride," the United States Marines. If you see one today thank them for your freedom.

America

What does she stands for? Freedom, Liberty, Justice, and the right to vote and the right for free-speech. But it seems here that they are trying to do away with everything. Just like the death row. Is it for us to decide who to die? or even the Court system? Yes and no. But the real person for that job would be God him self. But as with the court they want to take God out from our schools, workplace, and even our homes. But I thought that America was founded one Nation under God with Liberty and Justice for all. Don't' you have to swear on the Holy Bible in Court anymore? Let's face it. America is not what she was like when our forefathers set forth on this great nation of ours. So people, let's try to bring America back like she was.

"Journey" to the center of the Earth.

Fact or Fiction? A great novel and movie. "Journey To The Center Of The Earth"! Is it real or not? After just seeing the movie it's good but! do we know exactly what is in the center of the earth? or even at the bottom of the earth. For some of us we know that the bottom of the earth is Hell. but what is in the center? some say we can even drill all the way to the other side and get to china! but can we? Just like Heaven they say it's in the Eastern sky! so why can't we just look up and see it; with are bare eyes? Maybe It's just God way of saying; will find out sooner or later.

In The Garrden

I was going over a song yesterday with a good friend at church,which we will be doing a special in two weeks. We were playing In The Garden, and I just loved how that song is so smoothing, As we were playing it reminded me the day when Jesus went to the Garden and prayed. He just wanted to be alone with his father that day. The only request he made was he also wanted his Disciples to pray with him, but they fell asleep and did not pay attention. So I hope when we play that Sunday people would remember that day in the garden.

I Cried Holy

I cried Holy as I dreamed of this new city made of gold. I cried as I entered this new city. I cried when I saw my loved ones who were already there. I cried as I saw the golden gate. I also cried when my loved ones even carried me down the streets of gold. But you know who I cried the most when I saw him? The King of Kings. As I looked into his face I bowed my head and just cried Holy. As he put his hands on me I felt a warm feeling go inside of me like I never felt before. His love was so warm with Joy as I lifted my head up and just cried Holy to his name.
