America

As I drive across America I look and see the sights that each state has too offer. I realize that each state can be different in some ways but over all they are the same. But I can see the changes from state to state, the nature and the different colors. I noticed the farm house on the hill side and see all the animals on the farm. In the distance I noticed a farmer working in the fields getting them ready for the fall. The farmer starts to look as if he is worried as if he will be able to get his crops in this spring caused by the heavy snow and rain over the winter. So the farmer says a little prayer. As I get to another state I noticed the dry land due to not having any rain, so I say to my self that's why each state is different. I get to the end of my journey and I see the ocean, so big and blue so far and wide that you can only see to the horizon. The ocean is a different world all together what lies in the ocean and swims in it.So America is different as you can see why.

The Day After.

What would we do if tomorrow was the last day on earth? Would you go and spend time with love ones? After seeing the movie the " Day After Tomorrow" I know this was just a fiction movie, but what would happen if we did have something like that ever happening to us? Floods big as the buildings, hail as large as softballs, then freezing temperatures so cold that when you go outside your body just freezes to everything. It could happen and it will. But will it be in our life time? Don't know, depends on the man up stairs. But what would you do if you did know? Just think about it for a moment.
Because it maybe tomorrow.

The Babe

The Babe.

Babe Ruth was one of the best baseball player. From the age of 7 in 1902 until 1913 he was sent to St Marys Industrial School until Baltimore Orioles picked him up in 1914 which he was traded to Boston Red Soxs after only two weeks. During that time in life at the industrial school, he was picked on by all of the kids due to his weight. While there his love for baseball began. In 1914 with Boston he hit three home runs that day against the New York Yankees. Every since he stated that " He loved to hit home runs." Every time he got up to bat the saying was " There she goes" time after time, and the race for the home runs started. That season they went on and played against the Chicago Cubs and won the first World Series. After Boston he was traded to the New York Yankees. Since then time after time, bat after bat you could hear people yelling and rooting the Babe on as he got closer and closer to the title. He did it. He got the title that season with 49 home runs that year. Then came along this nice well dressed young man named Lou Garrett. Now he and the Babe did not like one another at first. You see this young man was also going for the record. Boy I would have loved to had been at those games and just see the power of the bat. But Babe just wasn't in for the game. He had love for children too. I guess it's because of when he was at the Industrial school, and just loved kid's. Meanwhile both he and Garrett continued to hit more and more home runs. Before Babe finally did manage to get more he retired and played with the Braves as a player- assistant coach. That year he had went to see this small little boy who was sick and dying, and the kid had told the Babe for him to hit three more homers. So the next day the amazing shot of Babes career he pointed to the right fields bleachers which no one has ever done before and hit one out the right field seats to end his career.

Every one has Mother's

Everyone has Mom's right? Most of us do have one anyway or have some type of woman that we call mom and they don't care. I know with my mom as I was younger all of my friends would come over and played games with us, and then have dinner, then out of respect they would tell her thank you mom and she would not care. As I was watching a litter of cat's , the mother cat had took the little one's and started to give them a bath and clean them up and as just like a kid, they would not sit still for one moment. Finally she got done with them and they left and went to play in the mud. So see all of us do have mother's. They may not be here on earth, but I can tell you that somebody's mom in heaven is taking care of a kid today.

Happy Mother Day

Part two of the Harper's and Miller's Family.

Part two of the Harper's Family and the Miller's Family tree.
I guess I left off from telling you about what my family did as they were younger and what they did as they were growing up. How should I begin. My Grandpa Dane, as he was younger and still a young man I have been told he had a store just outside of Montezuma Indiana.or Cayuga Indiana as a shoe repairman so I been told. Then my Grandma Lucille Harper, I have heard she had worked with the church. Before my Grandpa had became saved, he was a Alcoholic. But when God did deliver him he became a good man. Dane Harper had also worked for the state of Indiana on the Highway Department. Let's see my Mom's mother she had worked in a factory and her husband William Goebel Miller was a Minster of a small country church called Galloway Chapel. Now my Mother had worked for a small printing company when she was little and then work for Gullicks Pharmacy for many years. Until one day my sister decided when at age three she would take me and walk half way down to Farichild and Vermilion. in Danville, thats when my mom said she quit, and boy did she fire the babysitter at the time.So from then on she had stayed home and opened her own day care for many year's. until we were able to start school. Then she had worked for the YWCA for over 27 years till she got fired this past winter. Now my dad worked for Gm for over 30 years till he retired then he decided that he wanted to go back and work in security but that was not for him, so he retired again. Let's see myself I have worked for several different company's but the one I liked the best had been doing Security work. I have worked for the Indianapolis Colts for over the years which I have got to know several of the players and staff. Then I have done some work for President Jimmy Carter over at Indianapolis Indiana, and got to see Air Force One. So I have had my thrills and lows. So I guess that all about the family for now.

Bin-Laden

After ten years of the September 11, attack on the World Trade Center, the master mind Bin-Laden has been killed. Why did it take us this long to get him? This evil person was so sneaky, that he even out smarted us. But at the end we did get him after a severe gun battle.
But there was no death from our side. So Americans and all over the world now can be at ease.and give thanks to the Navy seals that did the job, and thank God for the intelligence that gave us the information. So we can now put this behind us and start a new chapter. Thank God for America.

Who are we?

Who are we? Do we know who we are? Do we understand who we are. We are only humans that god made in his own liking. Some people don't care who we are and what we have done or what we have overcome in life. I guess that is why we are who we are.God only knows about us he made us. If a person don't like us well that's life.So we are what we make of us so enjoy life as it is.
