Arms open wide
Arms open wide.
From another world you came down with your arms open wide. You came down to us and left your father. With arms open wide you came down and let us accept you for who you were. With arms open wide you didn't care who saw you for who you were. Then you died for us with your arms open wide, with the blood running down your hands and face. Then you ascended up into Heaven again with your arms open wide. For one last time you came to us again and showed us your hands with them open wide, and one day we will go and see you with your arms open wide.

Life
Life is special as I found out on Friday, as a new life was being born. At first you don't realize how special life is until you see it in person. I didn't see the newborn being brought into this world but I was there after. It was so special seeing this baby; it's tiny feet and arms. Then I start to wonder how can this tiny baby grow and be someone? Then through the years they get older and wiser and they learn from what they see and hear. As life is special it can also be what you make it to. So don't let no one tell you different.

He saw me as I am
He saw me as I was down and hurting, He saw me when I wasn't me, He saw me when I was a new person. He has seen about everything we have done, But have we seen Him lately? Did we pay any attention to Him when He
was on the cross and dying? Sometimes we just go to him when nothing is going our way or when we are just down. But Jesus has been there for us and even helps us get out of our chains. So think about this He has seen us for who we are, and we need to see him more often then we do.

We all have Grandma.
We all have Grandma's, some have two or some of us has one. But for most all of us we don't even have any more because they're not living. For our Family over the few weeks, have had, lost love-one's, for instance in my last post we had lost a good man, my Uncle Fred. Then on Saturday the 19Th my Grandma Miller, would have been 113 years old. Wow that's something being that old. You could imagine what type of stories she had. I do know she liked the cubs. and she always had some type of basketball game on to. I know she was born Feb.19,1898. In Hardin county Kentucky.and was married to William Goeble Miller, In August 1923. and she helped raised his son Fred Miller. She then had a daughter named Pearl who was married to John Davis. Then she had a son named Harvey Miller who married to Shirley And had another daughter named Eva Miller who was married to Ramon Harper. As you can tell she has had a good life and a good size Family to, who took good care of her until the end.

The Change.
The Change.
As the season is changing from winter to spring you will see a lot of new things, especially the weather.
As with any changes that comes there can be love in the air due to spring arriving. I don't know why that is but I would have to take a guess it would have something to be from winter. I guess from staying inside all winter and then the first sign of spring you want to go out and see the new things that has been hiding all winter, and as with spring coming up what is the American past time, baseball of course. Some of us has our team that we like as we were a kid. I can always remember my Grandmother Miller watching her Cubs, as she did one of her players that she did not care for or maybe she did, was Lee Smith the pitcher. She would call and say well there goes the ball game. I guess that was her way of saying she didn't care for him. Then she did love basketball too so I think that why we love to watch sports for most of us anyway that is cause of are in-laws. So as the weather changes go out and enjoy.

Country Pastor
Country Pastor. One thing about being a country minister is you're always open to everyone.
I don't know that much about the churches that Uncle Fred had but I can think that they were
special. Since they were country churches for most of them until he became superintendent for the district. Since he was a country minister I can see him greeting everyone to come in which would not be that many. But Uncle Fred didn't mind I don't think cause he was nice to all the people he saw. I do remember he liked to sing. There was one time when all the family was home
Carol, Fred ,Jane, my mom and Laurie I don't know if I had my trumpet then or not but they would gather around our piano and would play and sing. So this is a tribute to a good minister.

Aberham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln.
Abraham Lincoln was our 16Th president. Today he is known as one of the greatest President, but at the time of his election no one would have predicted Lincoln success. Why was he successful you say? In his time in office till his death, he had led the country in the America Civil War. He was born on February ,12, 1809-and served in congress for the state of Illinois, and served as president later on. One thing I do know about Lincoln was he was born in a small log cabin near Hodgenville, Kentucky. I had done some research on family tree and found that my great-grandfather had lived on a farm just up the road from Lincoln,s birthplace. And as most of you know I share a birthday with Lincoln but mine was later on in life. Lincoln would have been 202 years old, so Happy Birthday to a President.

What is Love.
What is love? well for most all of us love is in our harts, but usually love is between you and your mate. But in realty
It's is between husband and wife. You can also have a strong relationship with god that is inside your heart . Like my favorite verse is John 3:16. For God so Love the world that He gave us his only son to die for us. So see their so many type of love.So on Valentines Day creeping up on us lets not forget who we have to say I love you to. I know most of us don't have anyone to say that to but does it really care as long as you say it to somebody or just say Happy Valentin e.to or.you may just get a big smile from some one that needed to hear that. Or even find someone to meet On this day Happy Valentines everyone..

Leaders
America has seen their leaders In it's time. Some has been good and some has been bad. But without these famous ones we would never have what we have now. It started with George Washington, our first president, and .after him we have had lots of good leaders. For instance President Lincoln. He was a well liked President . Then we had President Roosevelt
As with him what made him a good man was he was in a wheel chair, also he stopped W.W.2 Then Kennedy Was well like but half way in his term someone shot him. So as America honors a well nice person and a President today who would have been 100 today,President Regan, who was also a good actor and a good leader who did a great job as a President . So a you can see America has had some good leaders. So let's honor our leader like our pastors, and also God who is the best leader of all.Without all of these leaders America would be like every one else.
