Animals.

Every time I see the commercial on pets that are suffering and don't have any place to go. it makes me so sick to see people hurting the animals like that, do they have to be treated like dirt? no Animals are just like peoples, they make you feel good when your not, they make us laugh, they play with each other. So why do other people are so mean? How would they like it if we did that to them? put them in a cage a lock them up. don't feed them, don't give them a warm place to live? Oh I forgot some of the people are already like that sorry, but still the won that do those to the animals should be lock up in a cage and see how they like it. I'm sorry that if this offend

Christmas

Well Christmas is over with for this year, Have you ever wondered why they make it a big deal over Christmas? The hustle and shoving for what, to get a good deal you think? Well, may be so, but It's just a mad dash to get those specials. And someone or somebody will get hurt or killed. and it has happened, for what reason. Then I had an experience where this lady came over to see if I had any change to give her. I had to say no. Just watch Red Dawn the Movie, which is very good.. It tells us about the start of W.W.3, how the enemies will come in from the west over the mountains and attack us that way. It could be possible, they could do it that way. But now watching the movie again on Countdown to Armageddon,which tells us about what will also happen at the end of time. So far the only thing that I can see that has been going on is earthquakes that has been so big, flash flooding that has killed several people, then the market has been up and down for weeks it seems.. And also the gas prices has been let me say price dipping. and yes we have had unusual weather too. So I guess what I'm trying to put out is are these two movies about the same.Which will tell us what will happen? But they have not yet made peace in the Middle East.

Nice cool Fall Day..

It was sometime around late Summer to Early Fall, this Mother cat had her babies. This Mother cat who we will call Katti,Well this cat was kind of unique.We knew she was going to give birth someday but was not for sure when.Then one day,on a very cool morning she must of gave birth to the most darling baby kittens. As I get up in the morning our cats say Hi to us and wants us to feed them. Then as we leave here our
cats outside looks in the door to see if we are up or not.And of coarse they don't mind the cold, or wind , they are just happy to see us because they know they will be fed. As we left this morning the babies were out in the grass just playing as if they were so happy to have a life.Why can't people be like animals, just sit in the sun and play with their family in the sun as if nothing matters.

As I sit and watch a Eagle fly, I wonder what it would be like just to fly and let your arms out and just fly. On a windy day you could just let the wind take you as far away that you want. The Cat in the hat.

On a strange but weird day. One day a strange big white and black cat had showed up to this house.Now this wasn't any ordinary cat, you see this cat could talk,yes you heard me right. What was so wired about this cat that he was the kids babysitter.Well kind of the kids babysitter anyway..Right of the sudden the cat wanted to see what the kids were mad of. He wanted one of the kids to see which would be the one to get into the most trouble, The other was the nicest one.then what was so weird there was also a fish that even could talk. So why was this so strange? well first of all fish can't talk, and neither can cat's. But this day like I said was to turn out to be different.As the cat started to get into well you know what they do at night. Get into trouble. Harvest time

Harvest Time around America is something, as I was driving over to Indiana yesterday. I could see in the field's the farmers were out plowing their crops. What a change it makes from the start of the season when everything is planted and grown, till harvest. As I was looking I had noticed just how different things were, from corn and beans in the ground and now nothing wow. In this one field I could see the farmers helping each other out as they plow that's how it should be, helping another out. Just think in the next week or two it will be different with snow on the ground it will look like a winter wounder land.

"The Headless Horseman," one of my best story of Halloween. It starts out in the early 1800 in a small town in Germany. The legend states that one night on a damp, and cold evening, a knight was killed in the" America Revolution War ". and was beheaded.Since that evening his spirit's would ride and haunt his victims. As he rides he would display his head on his hand riding his black horse.Also the legend states that if a person calls out his name three times that person also would die.So if you find your self walking in a maze watch out.

As the early morning sun was just coming up over the Memorial Stadium, it made a perfect "Homecoming Game". As it was still cold and little chilly tho, I was expecting it to be a exciting game. As I was sitting in the stands before the game started, just enjoying the pregame warm up's. The Band was out in full colors filling the cold air with beautiful warm sounds coming from their horns.It got my mind of from the cold for a brief moment. As the teams enter the field for the pregame practices, you can just see in the players eyes just how important that this game meant to them.After the practices was over both team left the field to just start for a fun exciting game. Its been over ten years now since the two World Trade center and the pentagon. And the ones that were on the flight 93 that would have hit the capital, we give them prays.for what they did that morning, We give thanks to all of you that helped that evil day.When we all woke up and saw what was happening we all were in shock. As Labor day came and went for us, That was a Symbol of Sumner vacation ending for the most of us. Let's try and not for get what Labor Day means to us in over all. Arms of a stranger

In the "Arm's of A Stranger" talks about how every day a animal is abandoned, left, and out to die. It's true how many "animals" are left outside each day from someone that does not want them. It's sad to see them out on the streets cold, wet, and hungry. Just like our kids today most of them are abandoned the same way, so why would you do that to a helpless animal? Sure they can't talk to us and tell us that they want love, but you can see it in their eye's so sad.The only thing we can do is to go and pick them up, take them home, love them and even give them a new lap to lay on. Washington these days needs prayer. With the Earthquake this last week and now the Big Storm of the century. Is God saying something to us . Is he trying to tell us to be ready for anything. 10 Years Anniversary

As the Ten Years Anniversary comes around for 9:11. Americana's sometimes are still in shock.Even though we did get the Mastermind of 9:11, It still seems just like yesterday when we all woke up to the t.v and saw the planes flying into the building. After ten years of looking and searching for the mastermind,we got him after ten long and long years. After so many of our guy's loosing life's and loosing Marriage,s we got the person that did it.So let's remember this one for this is special for us,Ten Years Anniversary.

How many of you will say that you had or have had a out of body experience?
or how many really believes in it? Do you think they are true, or fake? Well the reason I brought this up is I want to share one with you that I had when I was in Kansas City Mo. It was a night that I would never forget. It was a time in my life that that I was not happy with at all, I was drinking at the time and my marriage was not the best either at that time. But that was no reason for me going out and getting drunk. I was working with Host Marriott Hotel at the time putting long hours in going in at 3am,making homemade cinnabons.Anyway,I had a Grandma Seizure and went to the hospital. So they checked me over and gave me a shot of something, I was not sure at the time what had happened but the nurse came in and wanted to see if I was ready to leave? I had said yes. So I got up and was getting dress when everything started to get light headed. I told my wife at the time I was not feeling good so the Dr, and nurses came in. Next thing I recall was I heard them saying we're loosing him. I had heard my wife crying, so they took her out and she had call my parents back home in Danville,IL.She had told my mom that all my vitals were shutting down and they were loosing me.Then the next thing I recall was I saw my self floating over my body.And heard the Dr's saying we're loosing him. As they were trying to bring me back, I had saw this bright tunnel and a beautiful light, as I got closer to the end I could here people welcoming me. But when I got to the point of no return I had saw a bright light and was so peaceful,the voice said it was not my time yet. But I had said why God? I don't want to go back. he had mention that he had something else in-store for me, but I said what was it. By that time I woke up in I C U and wanted to know what happened? My wife told me that i was Dead. so if you don't believe in out of body then you should by now.

Communion

One of my Aunt's wanted me to do this for her. I don't know how or what to say about it but i will try. On the day that our Lord Jesus Christ, set down with his disciples, witch would be his last night on earth. He had stated that one of them would even be tray him.one of them said."I would never do that my Lord" but he did. "Jesus said,eat this and drink this" and Remember me where ever you go. so they did knowing that this would be his last day.It say's in the Bible. That who so ever believes in me that you can take the bread and the cup.To Aunt Shirley.

when you were born you had a very nice smile on your face, but as you got a little bit older in life, your smile slowly faded away. But when you were in Jr High School, your smile begin to come back to you.As you enter High school,your smile some what was there then it was gone. The world never put it on your face and it never took it from you.So your wondering,what could this be? well you see it's the love of god, he has always been here for us but we have never really accepted him until we needed to. The Rose

The Rose is a special type of a flower, It has been giving as a gift to a new born baby, a girlfriend, a wife or just to say I love you. Just think when a rose bloom, it blooms into a beautiful rose.A rose is special just think when we get to heaven there will be a garden of beautiful roses. God will be handing out them as soon as you enter the kingdom of Heaven.what will be so nice about that is they will bloom and never die, like here on earth.So if you like roses then you will have one for eternity.

Fair Time

When I was little, I enjoyed going to the fair. With the lights and sounds coming from the midway, it just made it feel more like summer. The best part of it was all the food and the different games you had to play. Then the rides, the one I liked the most was the Ferris wheel. As it would go up as high as a building you could see the town for miles. As it got dark it would light up with lots of sparkling lights.So I guess that was what I liked the most, so this summer try to go out and enjoy your fair.

Dancing With Wolves

Why or why did they have to kill the Indians like they did back then. Were they hurting anyone really? no is the answer to that as far as I can tell. Me myself has a little Indian in me. It was on my Grandmother side of the family.Only thing they were doing were to try to have land for them self. But as always someone tries to come in and steal what is not his or theirs to take then leave them alone. Just a lot of killing back then took place for nothing. Like now why is there to much killing? After watching Dancing With Wolves I felt sorry for them. It was a great movie.

I like watching the old movies on the Hallmark channel like Little House, The Walton's, Why can't the world be like the old day's?. No coursing, hardly no fighting, just everyone getting along with everyone? Why has the time changed so bad to where we can't trust anyone anymore,or pay the Dr's with a piece of pie or food? But now you can"t even go any place without someone coming up to you and try to demand your money or steal your car.So why cant we just be like the old Day's.

You see with the kids with school and going to the store, and P.T.A meetings just don't have time. But I do go to church and I do worship you on Sunday"s, I sing in the choir every week so does that count? I also talk to you when I get down or when we need something, so I don't see what the problem is? "Well it's like this if you don't talk to me every day and let me know how you are then I can't help you. But sure I can see what is going on with everything you do, but would still like to hear from you to every day. So if you can just send a letter from now and then so I can see your doing well. The Lonely Cowboy

While the sun sets in the desert, a lonely cowboy rides into the sun set. They say it can be lonely out here by your self. The cowboy rides on his faithful horse named Trigger. While both of them drifts into the sun, the cowboy begins to wonder why he hasn't found the right person for him. Meanwhile he and his horse our riding on the trails just as happy as they can be. They both came on a small river and stop to get some water. After they rested the cowboy got out his violin and started to play and sing to a song called " Happy Trails to You". After two verses of it the cowboy started to get tired so he begins to make camp by the river, so in the morning he could get up and bath plus get his food.

The Four hourse man

How many of us believe in prophesy? In the Bible it say's about the seven Horseman, but I have been reading only about the four so far. Now you may correct me if you like or agree with me about the way I think it's coming up to it. The Four Horseman that has got my eye so far has been the rider on the Dark Horse,which has brought evil and plague to the land, and even famine.They say when this happens its close to the end of the world, but throughout history, it's been like this for many of many years now so why hasn't God came back for his people yet? I think it's because of the other three horseman. We haven't seen the rider of the red horse which will be giving a sword..then the white horse who will be giving a bow. then the evil red horse.So If you think about it and believe about there are three more horseman out that we have not seen and wont until our lord Jesus Christ and savior comes to take us home.

Stormy Evening

It was a stormy evening, as the guest started to arrive to that old house on the hill. The guests didn't mind the storm that was coming in off from the ocean, as long they had lights on they were safe from the storm. As the guest came inside from the rain they started to worry about the storm. They all went into the living room and turn on the t.v to get a look at the storm. As they were watching the news about the storm, they all agree that it was going to get worse as the evening went on. Meanwhile the guests gathered up as many light flashes as they could use before the power went out. Then all of a sudden the wind started to pick up and out of no where a clap of thunder sounded. Just hearing the thunder made the guests jump and scream. One of the guest said" well be prepared" the lights will be going out soon. And they did. They grab the flash lights and went down to the basement, to ride out the storm. When the storm finally blew over the guests went back up stairs to enjoy the evening.One of the guests said, "wow and I thought this was going to be a dull party".

Part Two.
While the guests had went back upstairs after the storm was over,one of the guests said," I thought this was going to be a dull party". Just after saying that one of the guests had disappeared." What happened to the guest", the host said?" Don't know said one of the other guest. I thought that all of us was with each other when we went down to the basement when the storm begun"." I think we all better to start to search the house to see what happened," said the host. So again they gathered up all the flash lights and started to look for that missing guest. Then out of the blue came a loud clap of thunder. "Oh know," said one of the guest, "not again." As before they had to go down stairs to ride out the storm. So when the storm past again they went up stairs again to continue on with the search of the missing guests. As usual the host was wondering was there a conspiracy starting?ut how? While the others had went upstairs that one person started to try to find out on how that door worked. As he tried to push harder and harder to get inside again a clap of thunder sounded and the lights went out. Why oh why was this happening to them? There had to be a reason for the thunder and the lights going off and the missing guest but what. They would have to find out fast before someone or something would get them.end of the knew part,

As we celebrate the " Fourth of July " let
us try and not forget that first Fourth of July. On July 4Th 1776, America declared its independence from Britain and democracy was born. Without democracy, America would not have our freedom. From that first day when the United States Marine put our flag on that hill, and that awful day on D-Day as our service guy's died on that beach in Normandy.From that moment on we can celebrate our independence and have our freedom. So have a good "Fourth of July" and celebrate Americas independence.

Who is this man behind the black mask, and why does he have to always go out at night? Have you ever wondered about if you have seen this movie, why is it always dark outside? I know this is a science fiction movie but come on people,how can one person go around and fights off these creachers. and at night, and what's up with the car? The Bat mobile. They say the girls digs the car cause its black cover all over,tented windows,souped up engines,tires with guns and cannon launcher on the side.With all the fighting power why can't the government have one or don't they? It took us over a decade to see the Steffi fighter. First time I ever saw this big plane was over at the Indianapolis 500 Race. My friends and I were standing at the main gate on 16th and Georgetown Rd. when we looked up toward the heavens and saw that big bird just gliding so silent then out of nowhere it just lifted and flew off like it was so quiet and just flew out of sight and never saw it again. Just like the bat mobile.

The First Love

The first love. Have you ever looked and saw the smile on an new born baby? Just by seeing that first look as they are being born, then they take the first breath of air you hold her or him in your arms as they take that first cry.As they get older in life you worried who they will date and turn out to be. So on the first date you tell the person the rules and set the guide lines down, you want to put the fear in them because this is your first love. So as she gets older and moves out and ready to get married, you have this talk and tell her she was your first love and no one can ever take that love between a Father and his little girl.

The Longest Hour

The longest hour in American history was when Apollo 13 took off from Kennedy space station on April 11, at 13:13 hours. Apollo was commanded by James Lowell, John Swigged and Fred Haze. People were concerned that the mission would not be a success,due to it landing on the moon on Friday the 13Th.Just after lift off and half way into the mission, something had went wrong.The craft had suffered a gas leak,which they had to abandon the mission to the moon.While up in space the craft also suffered more damage. With no heat and little food the crew was in trouble. But with the American people praying for them they returned to Earth successfully. And they said that this was not a successful mission.

Today is Father's Day. How many of us said " Happy Father's Day"? I know with some of us we don't have a close relationship like we should with our Dad's, but everyone should say or tell your Father you love him, we wont know how long he will be alive, so it's important to tell them. I even took time to give my dad a card and told I loved him even with our difference.It's just like saying I love you God we do that everyday don't we? So if you haven't yet today tell your dad that you love him.

As I was walking along the river banks I came upon an old covered bridge that had been standing for a long time which had been made in the late 1800's.How can a covered bridge get constructed and last for that long of a period of time? They didn't even have the tools like we have today. Imagine working from sun up to sun down. These days kids and some people would complain about those long hours, but they didn't as they had to feed their family. They also worked in the field to get the crops ready for harvest, even their wives got in and helped sometimes. I wish we would go back to those days but I can see it now I'm to tired or it's too hot out side, can I go and play.

The Stars and Stripes

How many of us can say the Pledge of Allegiance.? And sing the Star Spangle Banner? How many can say and tell me how many stars and stripes are on the flag? It's sad but true, after reading an article yesterday so many of us don't even know the words to our National song. Then the song that Frances Scott Key did that early morning hours when America was attacked with rockets flying over bombing the fort and killing everything.As the sun rose Francis wrote" Oh say can you see by the dawns early light,what so proudly we stand".Remember that word proudly we stand.without we would not have freedom. After going to my nephews high school graduation this last weekend, it was sad. people talking and carrying on like nothing was hap pening.I have not had the right to say that I served in the armed service, but I have had friends that did and I have played taps

with the National Guard also. But when I have played taps for the fallen one it does bring tears in your eyes and that song is a moving one also. If it doesn't make you cry then there has to be something wrong with you.

Anaimals

Do animal's have feelings? I think they do just buy looking into the eyes and wounder where they have been. Just like the show the "Animals Planet". Just look at them on how their owners mistreat there pets. with our three pets that we have, each one has it's own personalty. I just can't wonder why they would do a thing like that. First of all they can't tell you if they are hurting or not, I guess in there own words they do kind of. So why do people do the thinga they do? who knows if we could find out I guess we would have the answer.

The Maker.

He knows our cry when we are crying.

Your Mother knew you even before she had you.

You say to your self, "How can this be?"" How can so many know me even before I was born?" You see that's what makes a good maker, He knows who you are even before you are born.

Down By the River

Down by the river I stood and watched the water flow by after a heavy rain storm.
As I watch and look at ease, how just mighty and powerful a river can be. I watch as the water flows with the ripples and current goes by taking everything with it down stream. As the river hit and destroyed things that she hits, I can say to my self how lucky you can be if you are not on the river. Then as I look and noticed a car trying to cross, it had got stuck by the river. I said a prayer that the person would be safe,and when I looked up and saw the person climbing out of the car I said to myself, wow that was close. So you can see just how strong the river is.

Moving on

As some of will be Moving on to new things over the next few weeks, with the most of you this will be something new. This will be a change in your life that you have be waiting for over the past 12 years. Its here Graduation Day, your walking down to receive you diploma your scared don't know what you will be doing next. Don't worry we have all been there and done that. So if you think that life is coming at you with everything just wait cause it will. So this is your Day enjoy have fun but be safe your goal is coming up.

Ramon Harper

The Journey of Ramon Harper.

Ramon Harper was born on May 21,1937 in Cayuga Indiana. His time as a small boy took him through hard time. He was the son of Mr.& Mrs. Dane Harper. He also had a sister named Ramona. As he was growing up he and school was never a good one, so Ramon Harper enlisted into the United States Navy, on January 27, 1955. As his journey began from a small town to the life of Boot Camp of Great Lakes Illinois, I imagine that from the Drill Sargent yelling at him he was thinking what have I got myself into. After Boot Camp his time in the Navy took him from Indiana to as far as China which he received a China Service Medal. His time in the Navy ended on November 27, 1957.Well, that is the journey of Ramon Harper in the United States Navy.

Satan and God

There has been a time when Satan would just sit on one side of your shoulder, and God on the other. One of them would be saying in one ear, Its OK know body will ever find out. Then one day here comes this tiny little voice, you know what I'm talking about.This little voice will say what are you doing? your response would be who me nothing. But then there was a time when this other voice started to talk to you, and you started to cry. This voice told you that you were special and this other person didn't care about you, so where is this person at now? where is he now? well he is here just waiting till you mess up. So keep your faith up.

Memorial Day

As America gets ready to celebrate Memorial Day within the next few days, let's try and remember what Memorial Day stands for. For most of us it means that we have lost love ones throughout the years for wars.With these wars as with any kind of conflict, America has lost several good people fighting for our freedom. If you think about it we have lost people from way back as from the Civil War, the French Revolution, and with all the wars we have had. So think about it, Memorial Day is for mourning but also a time for rejoicing, because with out these people that has died for us we would not have our Freedom. So If you come across a Vet this weekend just say thank you for what he has done. He would more likely give you a big hug. God Bless The U.S.A

America needs to wake up. God is trying to tell us to not for get him. With the Tornado this week and the Floods, He's trying to say America don't for get me. But with us taking God out of the schools and destroying our churches, no wounder were not looking out for him.So try and prey and put God back in our everyday activity's.
